How to Increase your Happiness
The number one thing I can recommend to you to increase your happiness:
Stop watching the News.
Poisonous fiction doesn’t suit you. You deserve better. Even your wild imagination can come up with more reality and truth than the news.
Yes you need to know what’s going on in the world – but how are you going to know that? The News is down around 1000th of importance and relevance, in that area.
Find other ways to keep in touch with what’s going on in the world. Listen to people, real people experiencing it first hand, who obtain no financial benefit from lying about what they’re seeing and experiencing. Read Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social networks.
“News” where money’s involved, is nothing but lies. You lose nothing by ignoring it.
“News” where first-hand human experience is involved, is truth. Absorb a wide variety of it from many sources, and you will figure out which is the Wheat, and which is the Chaff. It’s not too hard, it’s pretty easy.
If you want greater happiness in your life, you’ve got to stop listening to the News. If you then want to know what’s going on in the world, listen to the people.
That’s my best suggestion for you.
